GOD has truly blessed the congregation of the Genesis Bible Fellowship Church under the leadership of Wayne Cockrell, Senior.

Wayne Cockrell is the pastor and founder of the Genesis Bible Fellowship Church of Baltimore, Maryland. He was licensed to preach the gospel in October 1981 and ordained to the pastoral ministry in November 1984 at Manna Bible Baptist Church. He served as the Associate Pastor of Berean Bible Church until the call of GOD to start Genesis Bible Fellowship Church in June of 1986.

Pastor Cockrell is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Religion and Counseling from the Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is also a graduate of the Baltimore School of the Bible with a certificate in Advanced Teacher Training. He served there from 1985 - 2007as an instructor for the Gospel of John, Pauline Epistles, Personal Evangelism and Christian Life.
